Update:04/28/2016
Delay of “Starting the Transaction on Hour-Ahead Market with Interconnection Lines” Due to Problem of the Cross-regional Operation System
We started the operation relating to the hour-ahead market with interconnection lines
at Japan Electric Power Exchange (JEPX) at 12pm Today; however, soon after that,
problem occurred in the Cross-regional Operation System, thus, we stopped the operation.
Currently, the transaction on hour-ahead market is available only for supply areas as
conventionally by switching the system.
“Revision of registered contents of interconnection line after the day before (Revision notice
of scheduled allocation)”, which was started on April 27, is possible by a guradual operation of
the interconnection line capacity allocation plan function of the system.
We are now investigating to determine the cause for early recovery of this system.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience we have caused.
