Launching of Planning Process for Frequency Converter between Areas of Tokyo and Chubu
Organization for Cross-regional Coordination of Transmission Operator,
Japan (OCCTO) launches the planning process by the request relating to the
consideration of cross-regional network development from METI Councils
(Advisory Committee for Natural Resources and Energy, Strategic Policy
Committee, Electricity Supply-Demand Verification Subcommittee).
1. Overview
Electricity Supply-Demand Verification Subcommittee held on April 16, 2015,
launching the process for specific operation of FC reinforcement and reporting
the result of technical verification so as to reinforce FC as soon as possible by
the late 2020s about route selection and implementation date in this September
to Electricity Supply-Demand Verification Subcommittee.
