Launching of Planning Process Related to Interconnection Line Between Areas of Tohoku and Tokyo and Invitation of Electricity Suppliers
We accepted the proposal (standpoint of power source installation) about
maintenance of cross-regional network development from electricity suppliers.
This proposal conforms to Article 26-2 (ii) of Network Codes; thus,
we launches the planning process about interconnection between areas
of Tohoku and Tokyo.
At the launching of this planning process, we invite electricity suppliers
aiming to expand the use of interconnection between areas of Tohoku and
Tokyo by cross-regional electricity trading pursuant to Article 31-1 of Network
Codes on the purpose of searching the needs for enhancement and consideration
of capacity to be reinforced as described below.
