Supply-Demand Condition Improvement Order
Today, OCCTO implemented the orders shown below to improve the
supply-demand condition in the service area of Tokyo Electric Power Company
Incorporated pursuant to Article 2-44 Paragraph 1 of Electricity Business Act.
1. Members received order:
- CHUBU Electric Power Co., Inc.;
- Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc.; and
- Tokyo Electric Power Company Incorporated.
2. Descriptions:
- CHUBU Electric Power Co., Inc. supplies electricity of 600,000kW to
Tokyo Electric Power Company Incorporated between 18:00 and 21:00. - Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. supplies electricity of 400,000kW to
Tokyo Electric Power Company Incorporated between 18:00 and 21:00. - Tokyo Electric Power Company Incorporated receives electricity of
1,000,000kW from CHUBU Electric Power Co., Inc. and Tohoku
Electric Power Co., Inc. between 18:00 and 21:00.

4. Reason
It is because that the supply-demand condition may worsen with the
increase in demand due to the decrease in temperature in the service
area of Tokyo Electricity Power Company Incorporated if the
cross-regional power interchange is not performed.
