Long-term Vision of Cross-regional Network Development

　OCCTO draws up the “long-term vision of cross-regional network development” as a long-term vision that the directions about development and replacement of cross-regional network on a nationwide basis are organized.

　Long-term Vision of Cross-regional network development indicates the model of power system of entire country and the thoughts for realization by the consideration over 10-year period based on the national policy, deliberation by the Advisory Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, the planned cross-regional network development plan, and results of investigation and analysis about electricity network system by OCCTO, and is drawn up at the Committee on Cross-regional Network Development that includes experts and consumers.

The cross-regional network development plan after considering by "planning process". Planning process is started by the proposal from OCCTO, filing from electricity suppliers, and request from Council of Government and advanced with the flow chart shown below.
